Wow thank you very much for taking the time to share and explain all of this. Your product looks pretty amazing. Is it a stand alone or do you recommend aspirin alongside (I'm guessing this isn't necessary). Also, ingredients it says extracts, so they are not just the powdered plant material, correct? Are the extracts as in alcohol extracts or are they isolates ? Thank you for your time. I'm thoroughly enjoying your Substack and finding it incredibly informative.
It's a stand alone product - it would actually be bad to take aspirin with it. The White Willow Bark extract is a natural version/alternative for aspirin with the same mechanism of action (inhibition of COX-1/2). Taking both would increase the risk of GI irritation and bleeding.
The extracts are all pure dry powders in their raw ingredient form. I'm honestly not sure if all of them are ground powders or whether there was some kind of extraction process. I didn't dive that far back into the supply chain. But each of them is a food grade/supplement grade powder that's standard in the industry, and the turmeric and beet root extracts are both organic.
Turmeric/Aspirin/Cayenne is a combination with different mechanisms of action than those found in pharmaceutical Triple Anticoagulant Therapy. The effectiveness of this combination against microclots in Long Covid has not been evaluated and is unknown. My instinct/educated guess is that this combination won't be effective against microclots in Long Covid, because I think having multiple anticoagulants is less important than having multiple platelet activation inhibitors.
The goal of my work is to develop a natural version of pharmaceutical Triple Anticoagulant Therapy.
Pharmaceutical Triple Anticoagulant Therapy shows you need three specific mechanisms of action - a Factor Xa inhibitor (anticoagulant), a COX-1/2 inhibitor (platelet hyperactivation Inhibitor #1), and a P2Y1/P2Y12 inhibitor (platelet hyperactivation Inhibitor #2).
In the combination your suggest, turmeric will act as the Factor Xa inhibitor (anticoagulant) and aspirin will act as the COX-1/2 inhibitor (platelet hyperactivation Inhibitor #1), but you'll be missing the third mechanism of action (P2Y1/P2Y12 inhibitor, platelet hyperactivation Inhibitor #2) and that cocktail will likely be ineffective against microclots in Long Covid.
My natural version of pharmaceutical Triple Anticoagulant Therapy - CircuGuard - has natural components for all three mechanisms of action. You can find out more about it at www.circuguard.com.

I'm curious about the combination of turmeric and cayenne as anti coagulants used in conjunction with low dose aspirin. Any thoughts on that?
